JMG service commitments

Mineral and Geoscience Information

  • To supply published and available geological reports (including maps), mineral reports and other geoscience fields within one (1) day after an application is received.
  • To supply unpublished but available geological reports and maps, mineral reports and other geoscience fields within one (1) week after an application is received.
  • To supply available digital information within three (3) days after an application is received.

Laboratory Services

To provide laboratory services upon request in the following fields:

  • Mineralogical and petrological analysis
  • Analysis of ore, mineral, alloy, rock, sludge, concentrate, soil and water samples
  • Industrial mineral testing
  • Sedimentology testing
  • Engineering geology testing within the agreed period, if mandatory, or if routine, within two (2) weeks after samples are received

Expert Services

To provide expert services upon request within the timeframe set or agreed with clients, especially in the following fields:

  • Geological mapping
  • Mineral investigation
  • Groundwater investigation
  • Geophysical investigation
  • Marine Geology
  • Engineering geological investigation
  • Environmental geological investigation

Mining and Quarrying Services

  • To issue Mining Licences or Quarry Licences within 30 days from the date of receipt of a complete application.
  • To prepare accurate and complete technical reports related to mining interests within 30 days from the date of receipt of an application accompanied by complete documents.

Mineral Trade Services

  • To provide comments on applications to export minerals within five (5) days from the date of receipt of an application accompanied by complete documents.
  • To issue Mineral Ore Licences within 30 days from the date of receipt of a complete application.
  • To issue and renew tin concentrate transport permits within one (1) hour.
