Introduction

Geological treasures for public learning

The Geological Museum was established in 1957 and forms part of the Department of Mineral and Geoscience Malaysia complex. Its exhibitions help visitors understand the structure and history of Earth, geological specimens and the role of geoscience in daily life.

The galleries form a learning journey from Earth's formation and ancient life to mineral resources, geohazards and national development.
