Objective
To provide geology and mineral resources informations on the National Offshore area for sustainable development of the country.
Function- To undertake systematic marine geology survey on the national offshore area.
- To provide physical analyse on sediment sample.
- To collect, analyse and disseminate marine geology information pertaining to mineral resources, marine sand deposits and related activities.
- To act as the national depository for marine geology information and mineral resources on national offshore area.
