 Remote Sensing Expert Services
- Photo-interpretation - The objective is to ensure the supply
of additional geological information from remote sensing data
for planning field investigation and to aid interpretation of
field data in geological mapping, mineral and groundwater exploration,
engineering geology investigation and other fields of geosciences.

- Data handle – Aerial photographs, digital multi-spectral
scanning and imaging radar data.

- Facilities – Optical stereoscopes, NT-based Erdas Imagine
and Window-based Research System ENVI image processing systems.

- Archive - A complete coverage data sets of black-and-white
aerial photographs of Peninsular Malaysia with stereoscopic coverage,
many areas with multi-dates from 1955, and some (but complete
coverage of the peninsula) Landsat TM satellite data. Photo-geological
maps on 1:63,360 scale are available on ammonia print for 85 percents
of Peninsular Malaysia.
